Suggestions To Teachers — 5 Comments

    • There aren’t any specific lessons for drawing, but there are exercises sprinkled throughout the book. I thumbed through quickly and found them in lessons 22, 64, 81, 106, 110, 112, and 146.

Let the pupils select the central theme of the pictures to be drawn, and then decide on a fitting background and surroundings.

So for instance, in Lesson 22 it says to draw a picture containing three trees. The student can choose the type of trees to draw and then add ‘a fitting background and surroundings.’

I hope that helps. Let me know if you need anything else.

  1. Hi, I know this was put on here a while ago but I was wondering if the child is working on a lesson that has memorization passages, should we stay on that lesson? Should we not move on until its memorized? Or should I move her to the next lesson and still work on the memorization work?
    Thank you

  2. Under Lesson 10, it says, that it should be used as reproduction – oral. I don’t understand what that means. The title of this lesson is The Dog in the Manger. Could you please give me some guidance on this.

    • The student is to read the fable and then tell it back to you orally, which is narration. Narration and reproduction are the same thing. I am not sure if you are using my workbook, but I added a notebooking page where you can record the oral narration, or and older child can write it down. Another idea would be for you to write it down and then have the student copy it.

      Hope that helps,
      Cynthia
