Most of the items I have here in the store will be 81/2×11 size. But what if you would prefer it to be booklet size. I know from my own experience, that sometimes it is easier for the child to hold the book when it is smaller.

An example would be Little Pillows: A Kids Devotional. It is formatted in regular size, but it might be nice and easier if it was booklet size. Here is a simple tutorial that I use to print them out in booklet format.

Open the pdf document

Click on File>Print

The printing box will open up

Click on Page Scaling and choose Booklet Printing

Under Booklet Subset, choose Back Side Only

Double check that you have the Print Range set to All

Click OK

After printing, put the paper** back into the printer
Under Booklet Subset, choose Front Side Only
Double check that you have the Print Range set to All
Click OK

**You might want to try one page front and back to test how your printer prints. My printer has me put the paper in the way it came out. Yours may differ, so do a test run first.

I have noticed that if I print the “back side” first, I don’t have to rearrange the pages once it is all done. If I forget and print “front side” first, I then have to put the book in order. Not too bad unless you have a large book.

That is all there is to it. I hope it helps.
