Hot Cocoa Weather — 2 Comments

  1. We love hot cocoa over here. I have mine with almond milk to cut the dairy as well, though dairy has not been affecting me like it used to ever since I have been off of so much wheat. (notice I didn’t say all wheat because I do pick on something every now and again;))

But my very favorite hot winter drink is just hot tea. I love tea. I have all flavors and varieties. I am a die hard tea loving, tea drinker. LOL! I love the mixed green tea varieties, but I am really loving one that I started taking for my health lately. It’s called, Pao De Arco tea. It’s from a tree bark in Brazil. It means tree bark, or stick from the tree bark. It is an anti-fungal tea that eliminates all (or most) fungus in the body. Apparently this tree in Brazil is the only tree not affected by jungle fungus.

Well, many people complain about the flavor, but with my vanilla almond milk it tastes divine. I am hooked on the flavor of it, and it has become my favorite winter drink thus far. 🙂

Love your cocoa machine! Auntie Reff gives the coolest gifts! 🙂

    Blessings on your day!

    Dee

ps And I totally understand about a special place on the counter. We have almost no counter space and a very tiny kitchen.

    • Hi Dee,
I know huh? Auntie Reff knows how to give great gifts. Another year she got us a pancake griddle, with individual silver dollar size circles that had circus animals in it. That was fun. I should take it out again.

I use to LOVE my coffee and adding flavors, cream and even black. But, I am trying my best to cut out caffeine and now I drink herbal tea in the morning and sometimes in the evening. Good thing I didn’t get any caffeine withdrawals. I usually only had one cup in the morning and one in the evening. I didn’t think I could be a tea person, but I am finding some nice flavors. Milk? Never would have thought, but a chai tea I bought (not sure if it was caffeine free) suggested adding milk. I added coconut milk and it was pretty good. 🙂 I will have to look up Pao De Arco. So far one of my favorites is a ginger tea and today I had orange and cinnamon spice, it was GOOD! I also drink apple cider vinegar tea in the morning for health reasons. It’s suppose to be healthy anyway. 🙂

I do have a coffee now and then, usually when we go to the coffee shop. 😉
