Psalm 1 Copywork – Cursive
I think Psalm 1 is such a beautiful Psalm. It is one that I am including as cursive copywork for the kids. It would also be great to memorize.
1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
6 For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.
This set includes:
- The Psalm on one page which can be used for older students who prefer to copy it on notebook paper.
- The Psalm with lines directly below each verse. This can be used to copy the verse or to rewrite the verse in the student’s own words. It can also be used to write what the verse means.
- A little about the Psalm – This is a short explanation of the meaning of the Psalm. It can simply be read or used together as a Bible study.
- Notebooking page – This can be used to copy the entire chapter and/or it can be used for the student to rewrite the verse in their own words.
