Happy New Year and A Gift! — 2 Comments

  1. Thank you for these! And a Happy New Year to yours as well! 🙂
At first, I thought these were for little people, but after reading a few of the devotionals, I felt touched myself, so I downloaded them for Joshua. I’m thinking I may be able to squeeze them in as summer devotionals. 😉

I like that you are going to learn to sew. I have always wanted to learn. I got a “D” in sewing class in the 7th grade. That was not a good experience for me and just put me off of it altogether. You know who does all the mending around here…so embarassed to say…my husband. His mom sews and he learned to do lots of mending from her, but I have trouble sewing a button on one of my shirts. ugh…maybe one day. 😉

May the Lord help you reach all of your goals!

    Blessings,

    Dee 🙂 🙂 🙂

ps We love Monster’s Inc. around here!

    • LOL! I know what you mean about sewing. 🙂 I can sew a button, but that is about it. It has always been my dream to sew my own clothes. Well maybe not always, but since I was about 20 or so. My mom said she would teach me when I asked, but then I procrastinated and she went to be with the Lord. I wouldn’t have waited around for me either if I was her. 🙂 I just bop myself on the head when I think of the opportunity I missed, not only to learn, but to spend that time with my mom. 🙁

I hope you enjoy the devotionals. I am thinking of having the kids read these devotionals again since it has been a while. I think they are great reminders of God’s love for us and our own unworthiness. It may sound odd to some, but I want my kids to know they are nothing, nothing without God anyway. It is my prayer this year that their walk with the Lord will flourish.
